It feels like a string of Frankensteins (including Lee Atwater and Karl Rove) have created monsters who have then birthed their own monsters, living out the Monster American Dream of wreaking more havoc than their parents, and that the crystalline combo of strategist and politician combined in Trump has been unleashed in the worst way across the land. And I'm not sure how those cult members ever return to fact-based, polite society.
